Here we will visit the Tower of Belem (the symbol of Lisbon), the Monastery of St. Jerome (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos), a masterpiece of portuguese 16th century architecture and World Heritage Monument by UNESCO, and the monument to the Discoveries.
We will not leave the area without tasting the most famous pastry in Portugal: the “Pastel de Belem”, delicious egg custard tart once made by the monks at the Jeronimo’s monastery.

Atravessei a ponte Vasco da Gama,cheguei a Se túbal,para conhecer o seu amplo e perfumado mercado municipal, além da ensolarada praça Bocage. A partir dela caminhei pelas ruelas . Passeio feito com calma, na companhia do guia Carlos Rodrigues, perfeito conhecedor do local.
Depois Sesimbra, uma cidade à beira mar, super simpática, com um ótimo restaurante para provar frutos do mar bem fresquinhos: o Pedra Alta.
O final do passeio foi ao santuário Cristo-Rei, um ótimo local para se conhecer Lisboa do outro lado do rio Tejo, com direito à visão panorâmica da cidade.
De perder o fôlego.
