Itinerary

Day 1:
Foz

Begin your journey directly from your accommodation. We’ll start with a panoramic view of Matosinhos, highlighting the charming Foz district, where the river meets the sea. Next, we’ll explore the imposing Castelo do Queijo and the quaint fishing hubs of Matosinhos. This exclusive tour offers a unique perspective of the city, combining history, culture, and natural beauty.

Day 2:
Downtown Porto

In the heart of Downtown Porto, we’ll discover the city’s grand boulevard: the emblematic Avenida dos Aliados, with its beautiful Porto City Hall and Praça da Liberdade, where a statue of Pedro IV, Emperor of Brazil and King of Portugal, stands as a witness to the liberal movement.

Next, we’ll visit São Bento Station, where Jorge Colaço’s 20,000 tiles take us on a journey through Portuguese history and the traditions of the Douro and Minho regions, revealing the true tales of this city.

Day 3:
The Meal

If you’d like to have a meal during the tour, we suggest a typical local spot where you can enjoy “Francesinha,” a giant sandwich with various types of meat, the famous Tripas à Moda do Porto, or even grilled fish by the sea.

Ribeira

No night tour of Porto would be complete without visiting the picturesque Ribeira district. Gaia

Depending on the time of day, we’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the wine cellars and enjoy a tasting of this renowned wine, which can be enjoyed as both an aperitif and a digestif.

Day 6:
Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar

We’ll conclude our Porto by Night Tour with the best view of the city at the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Construction began in 1538, and the monastery features an unusual circular design, replicating the Church of Santa Maria Rotonda in Rome. Climbing the dome, with its 100 steps surrounding the round church cupola, offers a breathtaking view where couples often vow their fidelity, admiring Porto in the magic and fragrance of the city lights.
