3-Days in Porto Departing from and Returning to Lisbon:
We begin our journey departing from Lisbon in the morning towards Porto. Upon arrival in Porto, we will take a stroll through its picturesque and historic streets, visiting iconic places such as the Ribeira, the iconic São Bento Station, and the stunning Livraria Lello.
During the 3 days, we embark on a journey through the Douro Valley, one of the most breathtaking wine regions in the world. We explore traditional wineries, where we will have the opportunity to learn about the production process of the famous Port wine and enjoy a tasting. Along the way, we will admire the landscapes of terraced vineyards, and we may even take a short cruise on the Douro River, appreciating the beauty of the valley from a unique angle.
On our return to Lisbon, we will take the opportunity to stop at two important locations. The first stop is in Fátima, where you can visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the world. Then we head to Coimbra, a university city rich in history and culture. Here, we will visit the University of Coimbra and its famous Joanina Library, as well as stroll through the historic center. We will arrive back in Lisbon at the end of the day, concluding this 3-day itinerary filled with memories and discoveries.

We spend our second day discovering the majestic Douro Valley, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Drive along spectacular mountain roads carved into the hillsides, where terraced vineyards slope dramatically down to the river. Visit the quiet village of Pinhão and its historic railway station, famous for its tile panels depicting local harvest heritage. To complement your experience, you may opt for a scenic Rabelo boat cruise or a gourmet regional lunch. In the late afternoon, we cross the Dom Luís I Bridge over to Vila Nova de Gaia for an exclusive tour and premium wine tasting inside a legendary traditional Port wine cellar. We begin our return journey back to Lisbon with stops at two of Portugal’s most iconic locations. First, we visit Coimbra, the celebrated “City of Students,” for an immersion inside its prestigious University founded in 1290, where we explore the grand courtyard and the breathtaking Baroque Joanina Library. Next, we drive to the spiritual heart of the country: the Sanctuary of Fatima. You will have ample time to experience the serene sacred grounds, visit the moving Chapel of the Apparitions and the majestic Basilicass, immersing yourself in an atmosphere of profound tranquility. In the late afternoon, enjoy a smooth private transfer back to your Lisbon hotel or the airport.
