2021 in Portugal

After a year as difficult as 2020, surely 2021 will bring us more joy, after a year in which we were practically unable to travel from our countries, 2021 in Portugal will be the perfect year to travel to another country, in this article we leave some suggestions for you and your family.

We believe that 2021 will be different, and that as the year unfolds and becomes clear with the arrival of the vaccine in all corners of the world, security measures will be more flexible, as will the use of the mask or more importantly socialization, perhaps the most difficult situation to overcome, in a Latin country like Portugal, a country of affections.

As Portugal is a country with small dimensions and excellent roads, we suggest dividing your stay between Lisbon and Porto, the two cities are about 300 km apart and between them there are interesting cities like Coimbra, Fátima, Aveiro between them.

You can make day trips in these cities starting in Lisbon or starting in Oporto, private tours of 4 or 8 hours with a guide that will give you all the information about the cities and monuments to visit, as well as the most interesting and funny stories of each one of them.

We know, however, that the Algarve has been a very popular place, either for its beaches or even for its Mediterranean cuisine, where cold salads, excellent fish and seafood abound.

The length of your stay is up to you, however, it seems to us that stays of approximately one week will give you a reasonably good understanding of the country, a small country, but with very large differences over short distances.

For those who have more time, a itinerary will be perfect, because it starts in the city of your choice, arriving at the airport of your choice (Lisbon, Porto, Faro), continuing for several days, sleeping in different cities and towns, exploring and optimizing to the maximum your vacation.

Especially because there are cities that we only really know at night, with their colors, lights and of course gastronomy and wines, with a great cost benefit and perhaps complemented with Fado or Folklore shows.
