Day 1:
A Casa da Música

Embark on our incredible 8-hour journey through Porto, departing directly from your hotel. Explore the architectural vanguard of Casa da Música in the dynamic Boavista neighborhood. Gaze at the Castelo do Queijo, where the statue of D. João VI watches intently, and discover Matosinhos, a thriving fishing hub in northern Portugal. Day 2:
Clérigos Tower and Livraria Lello

We continue our journey towards the heart of the city, exploring the Jardim da Cordoaria and the picturesque Bairro da Vitória, the last Jewish quarter in the region. Before us stands the imposing Clérigos Tower, with its 76 meters and over 200 steps, offering a stunning view of the city and the Douro River. The 49 bells create a captivating carillon that, when it rings, can surprise you, but the visit is worth every moment. The legendary Livraria Lello, considered by CNN as the most beautiful bookstore in the world, attracts visitors from all over the globe, seeking not only books but the atmosphere that inspired J.K. Day 3:
Porto City Center

The heart of the city, Porto’s Baixa, surrounds the prestigious Avenida dos Aliados, the epicenter of events, from celebrations to protests. On one side, the imposing Porto City Hall, and on the other, Liberty Square, with the statue of Pedro IV, Emperor of Brazil and King of Portugal, a fervent defender of liberalism. The visit to São Bento Station is a visual journey through Portuguese history, with 20,000 tiles by Jorge Colaço. Day 4:
Porto Cathedral

We continue to the Cathedral, where remnants of the original Romanesque architecture reveal a fortress-church with two towers and a magnificent rose window on the main façade. Descending through Rua dos Mercadores, Porto’s oldest street, towards the riverside area, we will visit the Church of São Francisco. Built in the 12th century in Romanesque style, it was later transformed into Gothic and Baroque, featuring three naves filled with gilded carvings, using more than 300 kilograms of gold. The Tree of Jesse, a polychrome sculpture, is one of the best in the world. At the 19th-century Palácio da Bolsa, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the “Pátio das Nações” and the Arab Hall, with decorative stuccoes, marbled floors, and embedded coats of arms, offer a unique experience with sculptures and oil paintings. Day 5:
Café Majestic and Rua de Santa Catarina

Gaia
