Day 1: Porto & Gaia

A full day dedicated to discovering Porto’s historic center, with highlights such as Avenida dos Aliados, São Bento Station, Clérigos Tower, Porto Cathedral and the Church of São Francisco. The program also includes admission to the famous Lello Bookstore and a visit with tasting at a traditional Port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Day 2: Braga and Guimaraes

We begin in Guimarães, widely known as the birthplace of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage city, with its medieval center, historic squares and Guimarães Castle closely linked to the origins of the country and its first king, Afonso Henriques. We then continue to Braga, one of Portugal’s oldest cities, known for its religious heritage, elegant historic center and landmarks such as the Braga Cathedral and Bom Jesus do Monte.

Day 3: Porto – Douro Valley

On the third day, we leave Porto and head into the spectacular Douro Valley, one of Portugal’s most celebrated wine regions. Surrounded by terraced vineyards and dramatic river landscapes, the day includes a visit and wine tasting at a selected winery, as well as a one-hour boat trip on the Douro River, both included, subject to weather and navigation conditions.

Day 4: Douro Valley – Lamego – Viseu – Coimbra

On the fourth day, we visit Lamego, including the impressive Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, before continuing to Viseu, known for its historic center and elegant architecture. We then head south, finishing the day in Coimbra.

Day 5: Coimbra

Today is dedicated to discovering Coimbra, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and home to its famous university. We will explore the University of Coimbra, including the Paço das Escolas and the Joanina Library, with admission tickets included, before continuing through the city’s historic center and most emblematic streets.

Day 6: Coimbra – Fatima – Tomar

Today we leave Coimbra and travel to Fátima, one of the world’s most important Marian pilgrimage sites. We will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Basilica of the Holy Trinity and the Chapel of the Apparitions, the spiritual heart of the sanctuary. We then continue to Tomar, a historic city closely linked to the Knights Templar, where we will explore its medieval center and important Templar heritage, including the Convent of Christ, with admission tickets included, before ending the day in Tomar.

Day 7: Tomar - Evora

Today we leave Tomar and travel south through the landscapes of the Alentejo toward Évora, one of Portugal’s most remarkable historic cities. Upon arrival, we will explore the UNESCO-listed historic center, including highlights such as the Roman Temple, Praça do Giraldo, Évora Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones, while discovering the city’s unique atmosphere and centuries of history. We will end the day in Évora, with time to enjoy the city at a relaxed pace.

Day 8: Evora - Monsaraz - Algarve

We embark on a journey to the south of Portugal, passing through lush green landscapes and Mediterranean forests filled with olive trees (oliveiras) and cork oak trees (sobreiros), two of the region's most iconic natural resources. Before reaching our final destination, we will explore Monsaraz, one of the most picturesque and well-preserved medieval villages in Portugal. Walking through its narrow stone streets, surrounded by whitewashed houses, transports us back in time to an era of knights and fortresses.

Day 9: Algarve

Today we explore the western Algarve, beginning in Lagos, a historic coastal city known for its old town, dramatic cliffs and Atlantic scenery. We will continue along the coast to discover some of the region’s most impressive rock formations and beaches. The day also includes a boat trip to Benagil Cave, included in the tour, subject to weather and sea conditions.

Day 10: Algarve - Setubal - Azeitao - Lisboa

Today we leave the Algarve and travel north toward Lisbon, with stops in some of the most attractive areas south of the capital. We will visit Setúbal, continue through Azeitão, known for its local traditions and wines, and then explore Sesimbra, a charming fishing town surrounded by coastal scenery. From there, we continue to Lisbon, where the day ends.

Day 11: Lisbon

Today we explore Lisbon and Belém, from the historic districts of Baixa and Alfama to some of the city’s best viewpoints. We then continue to Belém, with highlights such as Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery and the Monument to the Discoveries.

Day 12: Sintra, Cascais and Estoril

oday we explore Sintra, Cascais and Estoril, combining historic palaces, charming streets and the Atlantic coastline. The tour includes a visit to Pena Palace, with admission tickets included, before continuing through Sintra and along the coast toward Cascais and Estoril.
