The Palace of Estói, is a rococo pastiche, in Lighthouse, unique in the region. The palace was the idea of a local nobleman who died shortly after the construction began in the mid-1840s. Another local figure, José Francisco da Silva, acquired the palace and completed it in 1909. He was made Viscount of Estói thanks to money and efforts that were expended in its construction.
