Itinerary

Day 1:
Fátima – Sanctuary

Explore the Sanctuary of Fátima, a global landmark of Marian devotion, featuring its two Basilicas and the iconic Chapel of the Apparitions. At the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, visit the tombs of the shepherd children, while the grand Basilica of the Holy Trinity offers a spiritual experience in a space with 8,000 seats. Day 2:
Fátima – Shepherd Children's Houses

Just minutes from the Sanctuary, you’ll find Valinhos, a picturesque village where the families of the Fátima seers lived. Explore the houses of Francisco, Jacinta, and Lúcia, a must-visit site that is free of charge.

Day 3:
Tomar – Convent of Christ

In Tomar, we’ll explore the Convent of Christ, built on the site of the Templar castle. The Charola, inspired by the Holy Sepulchre, stands out for its architecture and history. After the Templars were disbanded, King Dinis founded the Order of Christ, preserving their legacy.

Day 4:
Tomar – Church of Olival

The Church of Olival, dating back to the 12th century, was the headquarters of the Templars in Portugal. Classified as a National Monument, it stands out for its Gothic art. Here lie the remains of Gualdim Pais and other Templar grand masters, in a church that appears small but is buried two meters below ground.

Day 5:
Tomar – City Center

The oldest part of Tomar, oriented by the cardinal points, reveals its medieval history. Highlights include the Praça da República, the Main Church, and the castle hill. In the city center, the oldest synagogue in Portugal bears witness to centuries of peaceful coexistence between Christians, Muslims, and Jews.
