Posta à Mirandesa, could not miss the typical dishes of northern Portugal. The traditional Beef steak from the Minho region. Three or four centimeters thick, it is grilled on the fire, and seasoned with salt, garlic and pepper. Usually, it comes with potatoes with fries and sauteed vegetables, but there are those with fries and salad.

Francesinha

One of the symbols of the city of Oporto, it is certainly Francesinha. This dish is actually a sandwich made with loaf of bread, stuffed with sausage, grilled steak, fresh sausage, ham, and melted cheese. It comes garnished with a special sauce based on tomato, beer and spicy sauce – the crisp and starry egg on the top of Francesinha, is optional.

Pork rib

The pork ribs grilled on the grill. The tasty rib is marinated for five or six days in a special sauce based on seasonings: red wine, garlic, coarse salt, bay leaves and chilli pepper. A meal treat accompany with a fine Port wine.

Cabidela Rice is one of the oldest dishes of Portuguese cuisine, there are records that this recipe was invented around the 16th century. It is a traditional Portuguese meal if you come to Portugal you must surely try this delicious meal

Caldo Verde

Caldo Verde was named one of the 7 Wonders of Gastronomy of Portugal. The thick soup is made with potato, onion and finely chopped cabbage, seasoned with salt and extra-virgin olive oil. In the broth will also, slices of homemade salami or chorizo of paprika. It is served in clay bowls, accompanied by rye bread or cornbread. Simple and delicious.
