Verified Excellent Value and Great Tourguides My family and I used this company to go from Porto to Lisbon, with a stop at Coimbra and Fatima along the way. We also used this for a day tour to Sintra and Cascais. Pedro, our driver, was informative, personable, professional, and funny. He accommodated our interest and overall our trip between cities and the day tour with two teenagers were fun as well as educational. I highly recommend this company and would reach out to them directly for a customized affordable tour

Verified Walkborder and hugo the best! Hugo was incredible. The entire process was smooth, quick, and easy. I looked through numerous tours and was unsure who choose, and after a recommendation, I’m extremely happy I went w Hugo. Did it as we wanted, our speed and accommodated our young daughter and kept super interesting.

Verified Fun filled Portugal trip! We spent 10 fun filled, adventerous days with Pedro of WalkBorder Tours. Hugo set us up with an itinerary for Lisbon, Porto plus day trips from each city and Pedro knocked it out of the park! Besides the 2 major cities we visited, Evora, Cas-Cais, Sintra, Fatima, Duoro Valley and several more. Pedro helped make everything interesting even if we were dead tired! In fact, he was a big help with a medical emergency we had in Porto... fortunately everything worked out well. Highly recommended... reasonable pricing and lots and lots to see and experience.

Verified Hugo is a GREAT guide Hugo is a fantastc guide. He understood our wishes and was very accomadating. He was very willing to customize our days to meet our interests, paced the tours to our interest and ability, and was not concerned with managing to a schedule. He is very knowledgable of Portugal, a real professional driver and guide.

Pedro who was our very competent driver and guide picked my wife Christine and myself up in Porto and looked after us for a very interesting 3 days. We travelled to Coimbra and then to Lisbon. Pedro is a very friendly and welcoming young man and a real asset to his organisation. We had a fun time with lots of laughs and history lessons combined😀. We thoroughly recommend WalkBorder to anyone who wants to experience all that Portugal had to offer (and ask for Pedro!!!!)

Outstanding Experience with Paula and Hugo from beginning to end I recently completed 8 days of touring throughout Portugal organized by Hugo (owner of Walkborder Tours) and his outstanding local guide, Paula. Hugo's attention to detail in organizing our trip was excellent. He is a great communicator, and is responsive and professional. Our trip included visits in Lisbon, Fatima, Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Coimbra, Douro Valley, Porto, Aveiro, Nazare, and Obidos with Paula as our guide. Paula is a gem. She is knowledgeable, interesting, fun and very kind. Being with her was like being with a local friend who looked after our every need. I have traveled to 74 countries and have visited all 7 continents and 7 wonders of the modern world, and my experience in Portugal on this trip was one of the best travel experiences I have had. Big thank you to Hugo and to Paula - I highly recommend Walkborder for your travel needs - and I strongly advise that you request Paula as your guide. She speaks English fluently, and is knowledgeable and knows so many inside tips as a local resident who truly cares about her country and wants to make her visitors feel welcome. I hope to return to Portugal one day soon and will definitely use Hugo and Paula again. The entire experience was seamless – from luxury vehicles to flexible itineraries that catered to our interests and pace. We had the best experience exploring Portugal thanks to Hugo and his incredible team. From the start, Hugo was super responsive and helped us plan everything based on what we wanted to see and do. The whole trip felt easy, stress-free, and really personal. I was also to celebrate my husband's Birthday and Hugo and Pedro kept it secret from my husband and surprise him with the delicious cake. In the south of Portugal (Lisbon - Sintra - Cascais - Algarve - Evora - Aveiro) we were guided by Pedro, who was absolutely fantastic. He’s knowledgeable, fun, and made every stop interesting — whether it was the history of Lisbon or showing us those hidden restaurants that they were delicious and he helped us reserve the restaurants. His recommendations were all good. He is also an excellent driver who takes safety first and got us to the places we traveled promptly and punctual. When we got to Porto and the Douro Valley, Antonio took over and continued the amazing service. He knew all the best local spots, especially for local food and wine. He is also a good photographer, even he said he is not, but he really was! He drove us to Douro valley, which was a highlight! The wine/port tasting was eventful. We never felt rushed. It honestly felt like traveling with friends who just happen to know everything about Portugal. I highly recommend this team — if you’re coming to Portugal and want a relaxed, customized, and memorable trip, this is the way to do it.

Depois de 2 anos, voltamos a utilizar os serviços da Walkborder, desta vez com minha esposa, meu filho e nora, Hugo, novamente, nos atendeu muito bem, enviando cotações e dando boas sugestões. Neste ano, em maio, o tour foi de três dias, saindo do Porto para a Quinta do Barrilário, depois para Lisboa com paradas pelo caminho, no terceiro e derradeiro dia, para Évora e Setubal. Rubem foi o guia que nos atendeu, excelente, conhece bem Portugal e sua história, foi prestativo, discreto, quero parabenizar o Hugo por tê-lo em sua equipe. Como ainda voltarei para Portugal, com certeza, vou utilizar novamente o serviço da Walkborder. Fizemos o tour de 12 dias partindo do Porto, excelente experiência, Pedro o guia foi muito amistoso e esclarecedor, Hugo o Diretor sempre respondeu as minhas questões com presteza, pois iniciei o planejamento desta viagem em junho do ano passado. O último dia do tour foi guiado pelo Bruno, excelente profissional. Foi uma forma de conhecer uma parte de Portugal de norte a sul, se tivesse alugado carro por conta própria jamais conseguiria conhecer boa parte do percorrido, até porque estacionar o carro em vários sítios é muito difícil.

He was fully knowledgeable of the region and history during our 7 hours together. He was accommodating and fun to be around. The Mercedes M class the two of us were toured in was a very comfortable way to enjoy a very good day. Ask for Bruno!
