There are countless reasons to do it, we leave some of these reasons:

The cost benefit, if your option is the Train, the cost of the tickets, along with the transfers to the station will be higher than the amount paid for your Transfer (depending on the number of passengers).

Time spend, because if you do it this way, you will not have to return to visit these same places, coming out of Lisbon or Oporto, which guarantees one more day in one of these cities.

You make the call !!! We limit to suggest and optimize the day, according to your taste and curiosities, the transfer is completely modelable.

To guarantee that your day is unique and unforgettable we will guarantee the reservation of places that need a reservation to visit, like the Joanina Library at the Coimbra University.

Suggestions

The choice of places to visit will be exclusively yours, you will have several options, which include:

√ Aveiro – The famous Portuguese Venice, known for its Moliceiros boats used decades ago to transport moliça a sea kelp still used by the farmers of the region, and understand the importance of production of Sea salt and consequently introduction of the same for Codfish production, which makes this region industrially important and rich with its Art Nouveau buildings, all cataloged and of extreme importance, not forgetting there famous sweets “Ovos Moles de Aveiro”.

√ Coimbra – Coimbra known as the city of students, the oldest European University, where the students  truly understand the meaning of the Portuguese word “Saudade”, marking the life of each. The visit to Coimbra can only be complete with a visit to the University an its Ex Libris the Joanina Library, considered as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, this true Temple of knowledge. Visit to the historical center, the “Baixa de Coimbra” where once was the market, today pedestrian and pleasant.

√ Fatima – The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, needs no presentations, the largest Marian Shrine in Europe that receives thousands of visitors with open arms, a place where Peace is felt in a unique way, we will have the possibility to visit the two existing Basilicas, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity and the first Chapel to be built in that place, the Chapel of the Apparitions.

√ Obidos – Now let’s take a trip back in time to the  Medieval times and get to know one of the Medieval villages in better conditions in Europe, strolling in the alleys,  in Obidos is something indisputable, try a “ginja”, a cherry liquor (with alcohol), famous in this region where you can even eat the glass, in chocolate of course.

Hugo:

A month or more has passed since I used you services in Porto on May 28th, 29th and 30th. I had spent some time on the internet searching for transportation from Porto to Lisbon that would allow me visit several places along the way. The site that kept showing up was http://www.mydaytrip.com. This service – like yours – supplied a car and driver. Unlike Walkborder, the driver was a driver only and did not participate in any site visits. I am not sure how I came across Walkborder Tours. My impression was it was by chance. Even now, searching for ‘Porto to Lisbon private transfer’ brings up a number of sites but not yours.

I say this because I thought your services were outstanding and need a wider presence on the internet. When I finish this, I will add a review on TripAdvisor. We had Sandro as our driver for three tours. He showed us things we would have otherwise have missed – simply an excellent representative of your company.

Congratulations on a wonderful service. My next trip is to Morocco and wish you could expand across the Straits of Gibraltar to Tangier.

Regards,
William F. Finn, MD
