Its Rococo architecture style stands out in its fantastic unequal gardens well disguised by the sequence of terraces and galleries with Tuscan columns, surmounted by a monumental staircase, a strong decoration in statuary clearly inspired by classical and allegorical mythology, connoted the geometric beauty of the boxwood hedges and polychromatic tiles with the stone and bronze of many of its statues.
Cape of Roca
On days of more agitated sea you can observe the waves crashing through the rocks inside, a cave that combines its natural beauty with the rough sea, a very beautiful place, where you can enjoy a divine landscape, being only overshadowed by infrequent suicides committed on its dangerous and unprotected cliff.
Here we will visit the Tower of Belem (the Lisbon symbol ), the monastery of St. Jerome (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos), a masterpiece of portuguese 16th century architecture and World Heritage Monument by UNESCO, and the monument to the Discoveries.
