After pick-up at your hotel, and half way between Lisbon and Sintra, we will stop at the Queluz National Palace, a summer palace of the portuguese monarchy, known for its beautiful gardens and its diversity in architectural styles ( Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassic), you decide if this is the one that you would like to visit.
As we reach Sintra, you will be given the choice to decide witch monument (optional, tickets not include) to visit, from a wide range of options: Sintra National Palace, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Palace, Moorish Castle.
The guide will help you to decide, providing information of each one of these spectacular monuments.
Free time to explore the town, walk the streets and alleys, do some shopping, and taste the famous Sintra pastries the “Queijadas” and the “Travesseiros”.
Following by visiting the monument previously chosen (if you opted not to choose a monument to visit in Sintra you will get extra free time to walk the town).
If time permittes we will drive through Cascais, a famous cosmopolitan beach resort area, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.
Next, we pass by Estoril, famous for its casino (largest gambling room in Europe) and the “nest” of spies during the 2nd world war, where Yan Fleming got his inspiration to write the first James Bond book, Casino Royale.
